Langkawi , a tropical island near the equator, is blessed with magical hues of sunrise and sunsets. This tropical island located in the state of Kedah in the north of Peninsula Malaysia boasts some magnificent sunsets that are so awe-inspiring they deserve a place on one of the world’s best sunset maps!

Sunsets are my favourite moments of the day. They offer an opportunity to pause, reflect, rest and recharge while admiring the true beauty of nature no artist could paint.

Just slowing down, taking time enjoying the beauty of nature, holding the hands of your loved ones or rethinking about anything at all that’ll make you smile or have teary eyes while admiring the beauty of sunset will surely mark special memories in your heart.

Black Rocks Pantai Tangah

Langkawi is a stunning island filled with warm-hearted people. The sunsets I’ve been privileged to witness here have been phenomenal. Whether you’re visiting Langkawi or exploring elsewhere in the world, I encourage you to take a moment to appreciate the breathtaking masterpiece of nature. It’s an experience that’s truly worth cherishing.

1. Four Seasons Langkawi Tanjung Rhu Treat yourself for a sunset drinkat Rhu Bar or you can walk all the way to the front of the resort for this captivating sunset. This is my favourite spot in Tanjung Rhu. To top it up, the bar tenders at Four Seasons makes the delicious cocktails! I often ask them to surprise me with their creations.

2. Black Rocks Pantai Tengah . To access to this spot, head to Hidden Langkawi , when you’re facing the beach, walk to your left all the way pass Frangipani Langkawi . Black Rock is about 50meters from the end of the resort.

3. The Danna Langkawi, Pantai Kok I’ve had great times staying at the pool villas of this wonderful resort numerous times. Rock up the pool area, have a drink and enjoy the mesmerising sunsets with beautiful reflections across its emerald pool.

4. Datai Bay I’ve had the privilege to stay at this well-renowned resort in Langkawi. I didn’t actually view the sun going down but the colours of the sky at sunset was mesmerising.

5. Pantai Cenang. This wouldn’t need an explanation for sure. For somewhere quiet, head over to the front of Casa Del Mar Resort . You can have the sunset to yourself with Pina Colada in your hand at their beach bar.
