WHITEWATER RAFTING KUALA KUBU BHARU
I’m all for adventure, you know the heart-racing, adrenaline pumping kind of activities.
This time, I’ve gone wet and wild whitewater rafting at Selangor River in Kuala Kubu Bharu, located about one hour from the city of Kuala Lumpur.
Selangor River with rapids classed between level 1 to 4 is claimed to be one of the best whitewater rafting spots in South East Asia. It will surely blow your mind.
The rapids some named Broken Nose, Sandwich Rock and Chicken Drop were intense at times with very narrow drops and massive rocks on both sides.
We did well as a team, followed the guide’s instructions accordingly.
The Surprise Drop at the end was a rather big drop. Our raft capsized, no one was hurt, we laughed so hard instead!
There were sections where we jumped into the crystal clear river from a big rock, slide down the rapids and floated. It was totally bliss 🌈
We’ve had terrific time. Blue skies, crystal clear river, beautiful birdsong and rafting was superb!
White water rafting here is suitable for all levels. No prior experience required. Life jackets and safety helmets are included and are to be worn the entire time. A thorough safety briefing was conducted prior to this activity.

Skytrex Sungai Congkak offers great adventure ziplining, flying, swinging, climbing and gliding from tree to tree. The series of aerial obstacles are within 5 to 22 metre high. It’s a terrific way to challenge our fear and agility.
A thorough safety briefing was conducted prior to the activity. The staff who gave the briefing was great. I was uncertain about the functions of the safety clips and he took his time explaining to me in person about it, showed me how it worked and watched me trying it numerous times.
There are marshals at some of the challenging stops to assist, at other times you’ll zipline independently which is AWESOME!
